Gerald is founder, CEO and principal designer of Gerald Forsburg Associates.

Gerald received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the Catholic University of America and a Master in Architecture from the Boston Architectural College. He has worked with award winning firms in Washington, DC and Virginia, and most recently in New York City.

Gerald Forsburg has been designing places and spaces from as young as he can recall. "My reason for creating spaces is to foster connection between people and place. I believe in quality of living for all, and a sense of place and acceptance is a basic human need and right. Why settle for standard when good design is so easily accessible?"

What makes for a great space is quality design and craftsmanship, designed in collaboration with the end user. Gerald's desire is for built environments that inspire people to live their best lives.

Gerald, his wife and son live between Tribeca in Lower Manhattan, and the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Gerald is a member of the American Institute of Architects, the National Council of Architectural Registration boards, and the institute of Classical Architecture. Gerald has served on the Board of the Historic Belle Grove, a National Trust Property, and was the charter president for the Mount Jackson-Edinburg Rotary club. Gerald is committed to community and achieving a life of design.
